Join Our Young Scot Data Advisory Group

Are you passionate about using data to inform, connect and empower? Do you want to help support young people across Scotland?

At Young Scot, we support young people to thrive and make the most of their lives as they grow up. Our Data Advisory Group (DAG) supports our work by providing a network of advice and guidance, shaping ideas, and leveraging a much more extensive network to benefit Scotland’s young people.

Our DAG helps us on our data journey by providing:

  • Ideation on data projects

  • Data project prioritisation

  • Technical advice and connection to relevant network/partners

  • Opportunity to give back to critically important charity for our young people

  • Extend the Young Scot network to leverage in contributions to broader Young Scot objectives

Are you enthusiastic and passionate about data science and analytics and would like to help us drive social benefits for young people across Scotland? If so, then we’re looking to expand the membership of the DAG and seek voluntary members to join us.

To ensure we fully represent all young people in Scotland, we must have a diverse range of members of the DAG and we recognise the need for fresh ideas and different perspectives and approaches as we look forward. If you are in any doubt, please get in touch with us as we’d love to chat.

Please click here to complete a short form detailing why you would like to be a Young Scot Data Advisory Group member and what you could bring to the DAG on or before the closing date of 22 September 2023.
