New programme of support for young people with experience of care
Young people with experience of care and who have been in conflict with the law will be supported by a new partnership between Young Scot and Children & Young People's Centre for Justice (CYCJ).
We will work with young people to develop a unique kind of support to help improve life chances for those who could be leaving secure care or going through other times of transition.
Similar to our existing Young Carers Package it could include anything from essentials such as shopping vouchers to activity opportunities and wellbeing items as well as bespoke information on areas such as:
financial stability
emotional wellbeing and mental health
